Bulldog Licensing, the independent licensing agency representing Beano, has announced a new collaboration with leading fashion and lifestyle brand Skinnydip, marking the latest step in Beano’s expanding presence in the adult apparel, gifting and homeware market.

Available exclusively through the Skinnydip website, the new collection features t-shirts, sweatshirts and smartphone cases inspired by some of Beano’s most-loved characters, including Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, as Dennis celebrates his landmark 75th anniversary year.
The launch comes during a landmark year for Dennis the Menace, who is celebrating turning 10 for the 75th time. The milestone is being marked with collaborations, products and cultural moments celebrating the humour, imagination and rebellious spirit Dennis has inspired for generations.
The new collection combines Skinnydip’s bold, playful style with colourful Beano artwork and witty slogans, celebrating the irreverent spirit that has turned the comic into a cultural icon.
The partnership highlights Beano’s growing appeal beyond its traditional children’s audience, as the iconic British brand continues to attract collaborations with trend-led lifestyle, fashion and contemporary gifting partners. With nearly 90 years of heritage and inherent sense of cool, Beano enjoys strong cross-generational appeal. The Skinnydip partnership highlights how millennials in particular are embracing the nostalgia, humour and distinctive character artwork of the brand.
Skinnydip launched its first phone case design in 2011. Since then, it has evolved to become a go-to destination for female Gen-Z clothing and accessories. Today it serves up unique, witty and stand-out products to an ever-growing community of customers, influencers and celebrities around the globe through Skinnydiplondon.com, its two standalone stores and over 200 stockists worldwide.
As one of the UK’s most recognised entertainment brands and the world’s longest running comic, Beano reaches millions of fans through its weekly comic, bestselling annuals, books, YouTube channels, FAST TV channels, and Television Series. More than 28 million people in the UK have engaged with Beano across its platforms, creating a fanbase that spans generations.
The Skinnydip launch joins a growing portfolio of licensing partnerships that showcase the versatility and enduring popularity of the brand. Recent additions include commemorative coins from The Royal Mint, novelty rubber ducks from Duck World, puzzles and games from Gibsons Games, pet accessories from Woodle Designs and tech accessories from Ecell.
Planning is already under way for The Beano’s 90th anniversary celebration in 2028.
Grace Tedstone, Licensing & Brand Partnerships Manager at Skinnydip, says: “We love making standout products that our community and influencers can get excited about. Beano’s characters have this amazing, bold energy and colour that completely matches what we do as Skinnydip. We’re so happy with the results and can’t wait for our customers to get their hands on it.”
Rob Glenny, Executive Director – Kids Community at Beano Studios, says: “Dennis the Menace has spent 75 years proving that great ideas rarely come from colouring inside the lines. Fuelled by humour and imagination, this collaboration with Skinnydip celebrates the creative mischief that makes everyday life a lot more fun.”
Bulldog Retail Licensing Manager Laury Howat says: “Skinnydip has done a wonderful job of bringing Dennis and the gang to a bright, exciting and stylish selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts and phone cases that perfectly capture the wit, fun and energy of Beano’s famous characters. I’m sure this range will be a big hit with Skinnydip’s loyal customer base – and attract many new customers as well.”
