From October 15 to 17, 2025, the 18th China Licensing Expo (CLE), hosted by the Licensing Council of China (China Toy & Juvenile Products Association), will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. With an exhibition area of over 65,000 square meters, it will attract more than 2,600 full-category IPs/institutions from home and abroad to participate, and gather over 100,000 professional visitors. Industry professionals including IP right holders, licensees, distributors, manufacturers and retailers from all over the world will come to the scene to share cross-industry resources and conduct cooperation and exchanges.


More than 2,600 full-category well-known IPs/institutions will make a concentrated appearance, including Minions, Transformers, Peppa Pig, Barbie, Pokémon, Ultraman Series, Anpanman, Hello Kitty, LINE FRIENDS, Legendary, Doraemon, Snoopy, Teletubbies, B.Duck, Ubisoft, NetEase Games, Super Wings, Boonie Bears, GG Bond, The Monkey King: Uproar in Heaven, The Palace Museum, British Museum, National Museum of China, POP MART, 52 Toys, KakaoFriends, ZANMENG LOOPY, etc.



Five international pavilions, China Hong Kong Macao Taiwan pavilion,and six featured IP zones.Japan Pavilion, Korea Pavilion, Chinese Taiwan Pavilion, and Europe Pavilion (the UK, Italy) will bring a host of IPs to the event, jointly promoting exchanges, cooperation and development in the global licensing industry. The six featured IP zones – Art & Museum Zone, Emerging IP + Trendy Toys Zone, Video Games & Sports Zone, IP × Originality Zone, IP × Cross-Industry Zone, and Corporate Trademarks & Brands Zone – will segment IPs professionally, helping IP holders better showcase their strengths and characteristics.


IP Quality Lifestyle Festival, boosting quality consumption. Against the backdrop of expanding domestic demand and promoting consumption, CLE China Licensing Expo focuses on cultural empowerment and takes "IP Mecca · Let Every Love Be Remembered" as its theme. It integrates full-link six-dimensional marketing from inside to outside the venue, from B2B to B2C, and from offline to online, creating new IP consumption scenarios, enriching IP consumption experiences, leading and creating new market demands with high-quality supply, launching the CLE Shanghai International IP Quality Lifestyle Festival, and helping Shanghai promote consumption.



Forty-plus decision-makers from sub-sectors of the licensed industries will visit for matchmaking. The IP categories at CLE China Licensing Expo are comprehensive and highly influential, attracting decision-makers from over 40 sub-sectors of the licensed industries, such as apparel, food, stationery, baking, beverages, and retail businesses, to visit and conduct on-site matchmaking.


During CLE China Licensing Week, over 30 events will facilitate precise matchmaking. During the expo, the "2025 CLE China Licensing Week" series of events will be held. These over 30 events will focus on the new trends in the IP licensing industry, gathering senior executives from global well - known full-category authentic IP licensors, licensees, retailers, and licensing industry institutions. They will share cross-industry resources, gain insights into cutting-edge trends, and promote precise matchmaking and cooperation between IP suppliers and demanders.
