Exhibit Profile

Wenhua Ru Porcelain was founded by Master Zhu Wenli, the national representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage "Ru porcelain firing craft." Born in Ruzhou, Henan, Master Zhu is a senior engineer and recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, hailed by Japanese experts as "the No.1 celadon master." After five years of effort, formulating 328 glazes and firing over 1,500 times, he successfully restored the lost sky-blue (Tianqing) glaze of the Northern Song imperial Ru kiln in 1987, filling a gap in China's Ru porcelain research. His craft strictly follows Northern Song raw materials and ancient techniques, using agate in the glaze to achieve the moist, jade-like Tianqing color. Wenhua Ru Porcelain carries forward the ultimate aesthetic of Song Dynasty—"the sky clears after rain"—blending intangible heritage craftsmanship with modern lifestyle, creating tea pets, incense holders and ritual wares that bring the thousand-year-old Tianqing elegance into everyday life.
