A surreal and adorable story depicting the slightly melancholic daily lives of former cats who unexpectedly found themselves reincarnated as traditional Japanese nerikiri sweets. While lamenting that they actually wanted to be reborn as glamorous strawberry shortcakes, they spend their days in the display case of a quiet Japanese confectionery shop, grumbling as discount stickers are slapped onto them one after another. The stark contrast between their cute visuals and their cynical, "middle-aged man-style" inner monologues about the harsh realities of life offers a chuckle-inducing, comforting charm.
