Primark Manchester Celebrates ‘Minions & Monsters’

Creating an unmissable spectacle, a giant, orange inflatable Irene (the breakout monster star of Illumination's new film "Minions & Monsters") will be able to be seen on Primark Manchester Market Street's rooftop as part of a major retail activation celebrating the new film, "Minions & Monsters," and Primark's latest Minions-inspired collection.

The activation, created in collaboration with Illumination and Universal, builds on a Minions-themed window display and a dedicated photo opportunity at the store, offering fans an immersive way to engage with the franchise's new chapter. Adding to the excitement, James and Henry, the new Minion stars of "Minions & Monsters," will make special appearances in-store on July 4, meeting shoppers at regular intervals between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Alongside photo opportunities and meet-and-greets, the activation celebrates the launch of Primark's new summer-focused, Minions-inspired collection. It features more than 50 products spanning apparel (e.g., matching family pajamas), footwear, homeware, health and beauty, accessories and toys. Designed with families in mind, the collection also includes dedicated Gen Z-focused ladies' nightwear and accessories.
