Hasbro is expanding its collaboration with Disney Consumer Products to create a new batch of Play-Doh playsets inspired by Disney’s wealth of beloved IP.
Under this multi-year agreement, Hasbro will bring Disney’s vault of classic stories and characters to its Play-Doh playsets to encourage little ones to explore their imaginations. The partnership’s initial launch is available now on Amazon, starring the characters from the hit series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. While the playsets are intended for preschoolers, Hasbro plans to incorporate Disney’s other iconic properties into future Play-Doh playsets for kids and adults of all ages.
The line debuted with four playsets. The Happy Stackable Set includes stamps of Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and all their friends to help little kids explore their big emotions. Families on the go can grab a Mickey or Minnie Mouse playset, which features molds, stamps, character figures, and more in a handy carrying case. For an extra touch of Disney magic, kids can crack open the Shape a Story Playset and create their own Happily Ever After. Lastly, the Stamp & Go Megapack includes Minnie, Mickey, and Donald stamps, each with a vehicle to ride.
“The Play-Doh brand has been a favorite childhood play experience for generations, and our collaboration with Hasbro brings Disney storytelling into that tradition in fresh ways,” said Paul Gitter, Executive Vice President of Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products. “We’re giving kids new ways to shape their imaginations while connecting with these iconic characters, expanding how families celebrate the stories they love.”
