Sanrio has announced a collaboration between its Kuromi character and KATSEYE, the global pop group, launching exclusively at Target stores in the U.S. on Aug. 14. The capsule collection spans multiple categories including fashion, collectibles, drinkware and snacks.

The launch coincides with the release of KATSEYE's new EP, "WILD," on Aug. 14. The collection features graphic tees with Kuromi alongside KATSEYE members, a grey crewneck sweatsuit, a Kuromi ears beanie and a purple stadium-ready clear bag. Collectibles include a Kuromi plush charm, keychain, collectible figurines and KATSEYE trading cards.
Drinkware options feature insulated stainless steel tumblers in Kuromi purple with artwork and member photography, plus black tumblers featuring Kuromi alongside illustrated versions of the KATSEYE members. Snacks include crispy cookie rolls, mochi bites, freeze-dried candy and popping candy in collectible Kuromi X KATSEYE packaging. A-SHA Asian-inspired instant ramen and boba beverages feature exclusive collectible collaboration packaging.
"When we first imagined this collaboration, Kuromi and KATSEYE felt like the perfect pairing," says Jill Koch, senior vice president, brand, Sanrio. "Both encourage fans to embrace who they are and express themselves with confidence. We hope this collaboration gives fans another way to celebrate the creativity and self-expression that define both Kuromi and KATSEYE."
"We're so excited to partner with Sanrio to bring this Kuromi collection to Target," says KATSEYE in a joint statement. "Kuromi's fearless energy is such a natural fit for us, and we can't wait for fans to have fun with these pieces and make them their own."
Fans attending KCON LA from Aug. 14-16 can preview select items from the collection at Sanrio's activation, Kuromi's Mischief Mansion.
Formed through HYBE and Geden Records' Dream Academy and Netflix's "Pop Star Academy," KATSEYE's members hail from across the U.S., Europe, Asia and beyond. In 2025, KATSEYE was crowned TikTok's Global Artist of the Year and earned two GRAMMY nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela." Their latest single, "PINKY UP," received its live debut at Coachella.
The complete Kuromi X KATSEYE capsule collection is available at Target.com/katseye and Target stores in the U.S. while supplies last.
