Duolingo and MINISO recently announced their first collaboration in China, launching a lifestyle collection of more than 70 products and two limited-time pop-up experiences.
The Duolingo x MINISO collection includes collectibles, blind boxes, plush, keychains, home decor, T-shirts and stationery featuring Duo and Lily, two characters from the language-learning app.

"Through our partnership with MINISO, we're bringing Duo to life through product in a way that feels fun, surprising and truly unique to Duolingo," says Elena Vrska, head, global licensing, Duolingo. "In this broad assortment of products, there really is something for everyone to enjoy."
MINISO is hosting pop-up experiences in Shenzhen and Shanghai until June 28. The pop-ups feature themed displays, photo opportunities and product displays.

"Partnering with Duolingo marks another important milestone in MINISO's global IP layout," says Tom Huang, project director, MINISO. "We focus on integrating world-class IPs into lifestyle retail, and this collaboration perfectly blends Duolingo's online influence with MINISO's offline retail advantages. Through products and immersive pop-up experiences, we aim to create a brand-new lifestyle experience for consumers."
The collection is available across MINISO and MINISO LAND stores throughout China, supported by out-of-home advertising, social media activations and store takeovers. A teaser campaign ran across MINISO stores ahead of the launch.
