Higround Expands Its SEGA Partnership With New Sonic and Dreamcast-Inspired Gear

Higround is launching its second collaboration with SEGA, expanding the lineup with new keyboard sizes and designs inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog and the Dreamcast era. The collection features five keyboards — including 65%, 75%, and 96% layouts — as well as a Hall Effect model for enhanced competitive performance. Designs draw inspiration from iconic Sonic locations and aesthetics, paired with upgraded features like Dampening Plus and TTC Neptune switches. Matching keycaps and XL mousepads round out the release.

“The fan reaction to our first SEGA collaboration was phenomenal, and it was clear we had to bring this partnership back,” says Rustin Sotoodeh, Creative Director of Higround. “This time, we went bigger and bolder.”

The collection drops Dec. 12 and will be available online at higround.co, with select items at Best Buy and Micro Center.

SEGA Brings Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe to Chicago This December

SEGA and Andy Nguyen’s The Lunchbox Group open a new Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Café pop-up in Chicago Dec. 20, marking the sixth location and the first in Illinois. The Wicker Park restaurant features immersive Sonic-themed decor, exclusive Chicago-only packaging, and a menu inspired by the franchise — including items like Sonic’s Turbo Chili Dog, Spicy Fried Chicken Knuckles Sandwich, and Power-Up Ring Onion Rings.

The Chicago pop-up also introduces new dishes crafted by local chef David Choi, such as Knuckles’ Smash Fries, the Scoop-de-Loop Ice Cream Sandwich, and Shadow’s Eclipse Affogato. Visitors can also purchase location-exclusive merchandise and view a custom mural by Chicago artist Luis De Guzman. The pop-up opens inside the Seoul Taco space at 1422 N. Milwaukee Ave., which will return to its original concept after the event ends.

Miraculous Expands Its Roblox Footprint with Tower Defense Game

Miraculous Corp and Toya Studios have launched Miraculous Tower Defense, the franchise’s first strategy game on Roblox. The title builds on the success of Miraculous RP: Quests of Ladybug & Cat Noir, offering more advanced mechanics for an aging fanbase. Players assemble hero teams — including Ladybug, Cat Noir, and other favorites — to defend Paris from waves of akumatized villains while managing resources, upgrading abilities, and completing missions across iconic locations.

The game emphasizes cooperative play and ties into the broader Miraculous ecosystem with an in-game teleport from Miraculous RP, a launch tie-in with the new Miraculous Chibi short-form series, and upcoming marketing support from Roblox. Miraculous continues to be a major force on digital platforms with billions of views and hundreds of millions of plays across its Roblox experiences.

‘The Boys’ Soars into Gaming with Upcoming VR Title

As the fifth and final season of The Boys approaches, Amazon Prime is partnering with a superteam of developers to bring the franchise into the video game sphere with virtual reality (VR).

The Boys: Trigger Warning is a virtual reality game that puts players on the front lines of the war against Supes. The series creators collaborated with Sony Pictures VR and Brazilian game studio Arvore to perfectly capture the gritty, grotesque world, even bringing back members of the original cast. The title officially launches in 2026, but is available to preorder for a limited time.

In the game, players take on the role of an all-new character who was forced to become a Supe after discovering one of Vought’s violent secrets. Thirsting for revenge, the player teams up with The Boys to infiltrate Vought, battling the world’s most powerful superheroes along the way. With a unique blend of stealth, combat, and dark humor, fans can immerse themselves in the world long after the series finale.

Throughout the chaos and carnage, fans will spot many beloved cast members reprising their roles, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke), and even Jensen Ackles, who appears as a new, twisted version of Soldier Boy.

“From day one, we wanted to build an adaptation hand-in-hand with the people who defined this universe,” said Ricardo Justus, Founder and Head of Studio at Arvore. “Working with the show’s writers and cast allowed us to bring the edge, humor, and brutality that made the series iconic, delivered with the spark of magic only Arvore can create.”
