DUNHUANG ACADEMY

Dunhuang Academy is a comprehensive public institute based on research and a national first-grade museum of China, which administrates a World Cultural Heritage site, Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang, as well as Maiji Moutain Grottoes at Tianshui and Bingling Temple Grottoes at Yongjing, also, National Key Conservation Institutes of Cultural Heritage, including the Yulin Caves at Guazhou, the West Thousand-Buddha Caves at Dunhuang and the Northern Grottoes Temple at Qingyang. The Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang is the largest existing art treasury in the world in scale, with the longest duration, the richest content and the most complete preservation. lt is the crystallization of the multi-cultural integration and mutual learning of civilizations along the ancient Silk Road.
