Dunhuang Academy is a comprehensive public institute based on research and a national first-grade museum ofChina, which administrates a World Cultural Heritage site, Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang, as well as MaijiMoutain Grottoes at Tianshui and Bingling Temple Grottoes at Yongjing, also, National Key ConservationInstitutes of Cultural Heritage, including the Yulin Caves at Guazhou, the West Thousand-Buddha Caves atDunhuang and the Northern Grottoes Temple at Qingyang. The Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang is the largest existing art treasury in the world in scale, with the longestduration, the richest content and the most complete preservation.
