Radio Flyer has teamed up with Peanuts to introduce Snoopy's Wagon, the company’s first wagon designed specifically for both kids and dogs. The collaboration brings together two nostalgic brands to create a pet-friendly version of the classic red wagon, complete with Peanuts-themed design elements.
Key features of the wagon include a UV-protection canopy modeled after Snoopy’s red doghouse, a zip-down side panel that doubles as a child’s bench seat and built-in leash loops to secure pets during travel. The wagon also includes cupholders, storage pouches and safety features like a 3-point harness and rear brake.
"For generations, Radio Flyer has been a trusted companion for adventure, play and family memories," says Robert Pasin, chief wagon officer, Radio Flyer. "With Snoopy's Wagon, we're extending that legacy to our four-legged family members. We're thrilled to collaborate with Peanuts on this innovative and fun product that celebrates the love of pets and the timeless charm of Snoopy."
As part of the launch, Radio Flyer is donating 100 units to animal shelters across the U.S. and will host a Wag & Ride event on April 12 at PAWS Chicago in celebration of National Pet Day. The family-friendly event will include dog play areas, kid zones with Radio Flyer products, photo ops with Snoopy and adoption incentives. Families who adopt a pet at the event will receive a Snoopy's Wagon to take home.
Peanuts, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, continues to expand its brand through strategic licensing partnerships.
"Snoopy has been a symbol of adventure, imagination and companionship since he was first introduced to the world in 1950," says Scott Shillet, vice president, global licensing, Peanuts. "As a 75-year-old brand, our goal is to work with best-in-class partners, like Radio Flyer, who can create new, innovative products for our incredible fans. As a pet parent myself, I am excited for Snoopy's Wagon to bring a little bit of joy into the lives of families and pets alike."
