Mattel and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products enter a multi-year licensing agreement to utilize the DC franchise. With the partnership, Mattel will promote the DC universe through a full range of products.
In this licensing agreement, Mattel will have the rights to develop DC-themed products, including action figures, playsets, accessories, role-play products, and adult collectibles. The agreement will also span production for all DC characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and more.
This deal builds on the companies’ existing relationship, which includes more than 30 brands and franchises, including Friends, Ted Lasso, Seinfeld, and more. The existing agreement will expand Mattel’s rights to produce products across preschool, plush, games, and other toy categories.
Consumers can expect the launch of more DC products in the second half of 2026. To learn more about Mattel products and Warner Bros. brands, visit mattel.com and warnerbros.com.

“Our collaboration with Mattel will lead to all-new offerings celebrating DC’s rich legacy and future storytelling across publishing, animation, TV, and film. Every story and character, from Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman’s heroics to The Joker and Harley Quinn’s troublemaking, are prime inspiration for a new partnership that combines the power of Mattel and the global appeal of DC,” says Robert Oberschelp, head of Warner Bros.
