Cloudco Entertainment, owner of the Care Bears brand, has launched a new collectible collaboration with ZURU's Starbox: the Sad Baby Care Bears Keychain. Available for purchase now, the line brings Starbox's expressive, teary-eyed Sad Baby design language to the brand's most-loved characters.

Sad Baby Care Bears Keychains dress seven iconic Care Bears characters in Starbox's signature "so cute it hurts" style, blending nostalgia with the emotionally expressive humor that has made Sad Baby a breakout hit with kidult collectors. Each keychain-sized figure is styled in a signature Care Bears look, with the collectible lineup led by Cheer Bear, Funshine Bear, Good Luck Bear, Grumpy Bear and Share Bear, alongside Wish Bear and a 1-in-128 super-rare Togetherness Bear. Compact and bag-ready, the collection sits at the intersection of collectible and fashion accessory, tapping into the same self-expression and display culture that has driven the wider blind-box category.
"Care Bears continues to find its way into new formats, and Starbox's Sad Baby aesthetic lets us show up in a completely new, unexpected way, while still feeling unmistakably Care Bears," says Robert Prinzo, head, global licensing, Cloudco Entertainment. "This type of cultural relevancy and multigenerational engagement is exactly what's fueling our momentum heading into our 45th anniversary."
"Care Bears is one of the world's most beloved nostalgic brands, making it a natural fit for Sad Baby's premium collectible aesthetic," says Gavin Correia, licensing manager, ZURU. "We've focused on creating a range with unmatched quality and attention to detail that stays true to these iconic characters while giving them a fresh new look for today's kidult collector. Seeing Cheer Bear, Funshine Bear and the rest of the crew receive the Sad Baby treatment has been one of our favorite collaborations yet and we can't wait to see fans collect them all."
Additional products and partnerships are currently in development, with more announcements to follow as the brand continues its partnership with ZURU.
