MINISO Launches 'Star Wars' Collection with North American Pop-Up Tour

MINISO has launched its "Star Wars"-inspired collection in global markets this May, with a themed pop-up activation debuting in North America. The pop-up tour begins in Chicago on May 9 and will travel to New York, Seattle, Toronto and other cities through June 21. The collection coincides with the release of "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu" and includes collectibles, accessories and lifestyle products.
The pop-up stores combine retail with immersive environments featuring oversized Grogu inflatables, film-inspired visual walls and character scenes designed for photo opportunities. The activation carries the theme, Unleash the Force of Fun, throughout the experience.

The collection features over 120 SKUs, including plush toys, blind boxes, collectibles, apparel, accessories and homeware. Grogu-themed designs lead the assortment with pop-up-limited vinyl figures and MINISO-exclusive "Star Wars" character keycap blind boxes. Additional items include Grogu blind box collectibles, magnetic shoulder-sitting plush companions and other “Star Wars” character-inspired products.
The collection extends into lifestyle categories such as pet apparel, home textiles, accessories and pop-up-exclusive items. Products are rolling out globally from May and will be available at MINISO stores worldwide.
The North American pop-up tour launches at Woodfield Mall in Chicago from May 9 to May 31, continues to American Dream Mall in New York from May 16 to June 7 and moves to Alderwood Mall in Seattle from May 21 to June 14. The activation expands to Canada with a Toronto stop at Square One from May 22 to June 21. Beyond North America, the pop-up will continue to Indonesia, Peru, India and additional markets.
